Stories from Optum

Our August Transforming Learning program is hosted by Optum.

Largely considered an innovator in its space, Optum's Christine Bakewicz will share some key challenges the company has faced in the past year and how their strategic process has helped them create an innovative and transformative approach to learning.

Christine Bakewicz

Organizational Development Manager

Christine joined Optum in 2011 and again in 2016 serving across Optum, UnitedHealth Group, and UnitedHealthcare. Between roles, Christine lived in South Korea teaching English to K-6th grade students. She is currently the Director of Leadership Development within the Optum Talent Office.

In her role, Christine is a champion and advocate for development by designing experiences for the long term growth of leaders within Optum. She is responsible for the integration and adoption of the Common Language of Leadership, Coaching, and Sponsorship across Optum. With strong consulting and facilitation capabilities, Christine collaborates with Human Capital Partners and business leaders to help design, develop, and deliver measurable outcome based solutions.
