The Greater Twin Cities Chapter of the Association for Talent Development Presents

What do you think when you hear the word, “Influence?”

The Cambridge Dictionary defines Influence as:

“to cause someone to change a behaviorbelief, or opinionor to cause something to be changed

This Influence Workshop is critical for anyone who is looking to increase their own personal, natural influence. Through performance, principles and application exercises, participants will learn practical skills and techniques that will enable them to influence others.

This highly interactive course introduces key principles in building trust, instilling confidence and making stronger connections. Mastering influence increases the chances of success when working with customers, colleagues and leadership, and helps in building strong, reciprocal relationships through intentional interactions.

Participants in this workshop will learn:

How to use body alignment, gesture and voice to quickly develop  connections that build trust and enable your influence.
The underlying patterns of influence systems, what makes ideas spread and people succeed.
How to map your own most critical networks, identifying “stars” and “bridges” that represent the most strategic targets for influence.
Techniques for assessing your level of influence in key relationships by understanding the different stages in a relationship.
How to build a personal action plan to deepen relationships and increase your influence.
How to leverage the science of change to influence how fast and completely your organization adopts new ideas and programs.

Because of the intensity of the workshop, space in this class is limited and we strongly encourage all participants to use their newfound power for good, and not for evil.
