Small Business Marketing Workshop:

Knowing the Value Your Business Brings

This workshop is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the marketing point of view.  Marketing requires a clear understanding of the value that a business delivers and the problems the business solves, helping the business communicate a clear brand promise and target and attract the right kinds of customers. This class will also present ways to focus on strengths and identify areas where outside resources can help a business achieve its goals.

This workshop will teach you:

  • How marketing effectiveness impacts your business: the importance of planning for the 4 Ps of marketing and the impact of ineffective marketing.
  • How businesses communicate their business brand; aligning every aspect of your business for brand impact.
  • How to identify and communicate your business value; the problems that your business solves, how customer personas can help you understand your target customer and position your business as a solution.
  • How to write a value proposition statement and elevator pitch for your business.

Instructor: Mary Rapaport

Mary Rapaport is a sales and marketing trainer, experienced in developing and delivering training programs that help people sell and market more effectively.  Mary is an active mentor and speaker and specializes in the intersection of marketing and training where communication, connection and knowledge transfer drive growth.
