How to Get Your Volunteer Discount Code

  1. Complete the Sign Up Registration for a volunteer role.
  2. Look for an email from authorize.net and one from us at admin@ATD-GTC.org.
  3. Note the Volunteer code in the email.
  4. When registering for the conference, select the Volunteer option and enter the code sent to you.
  5. An email will be sent approximately two weeks before the conference to remind you of the volunteer role.

Volunteer Roles and Descriptions

ATD-GTC Booth Representative: Distribute ATD-Twin Cities Chapter information and answer questions. Encourage non-members to join, and generate interest for the 2017 Conference.

Ask Me Crew Member: Direct attendees about the conference facility and answer general questions concerning the conference while stationed at major traffic areas throughout the facility.

Registration Desk Crew Member: Check-in attendees, distribute name badges, tote bags, notebooks, etc.

In-Depth/Breakout Room Host: Ensure that audiovisual equipment is operational, including speaker microphones. Ensure that sessions start and end on time. Introduce the speaker(s) (you may use the bios listed on www.astd-tcc.org), and make housekeeping announcements, such as reminders to turn off cell phones, etc. Monitor the door to ensure that the session does not exceed room capacity. Remind attendees to complete the conference survey that will be sent out via email after the conference.

Evening Before Set-up Crew Member: Organize name badges, assemble attendee bags, etc. on Thursday Oct 13 – 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Morning Set-up Crew Member: Putting up posters, decoration set up, etc., 6:30-8:00 a.m.

Clean-up Crew Member: Pack up registration materials, remove posters, pack up equipment, etc.
