ATD-GTC's Communities of Practice

ATD-GTC’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) offer you an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who have an interest in similar topics. These small groups meet on a regular basis or connect with each other via a social learning forum such as a LinkedIn Group. They explore their topic, share best practices, and keep up with the latest information. CoPs are free and there is no limit to the number of CoPs anyone can join.

The ATD-GTC Coaching Community of Practice

Focuses on the trends, timeless topics and skills related to coaching in organizations. It is a vibrant networking and learning community for coaching, training & development, and human resource professionals interested in coaching leaders and individual contributors. The CoP meets the first Monday of each month over lunch.

The ATD-GTC Training Community of Practice

Provides opportunities to share best practices and practical knowledge in all elements of training. As technology changes, learning and development is also changing. The principles of analysis, design, development and evaluation have unique differences based on the business goals for the training and the delivery method.

We will strive to provide local practitioners who will present on skills they use in their job to make a positive impact on their organization and learners.

As most of our events our held at public libraries and our facilitators work at different locations the times and locations will vary for our events. We will strive to publish our event notice at least one month before the event.
